A Professional of Management & Budget (OMB) occurs as system inside a Executive Office of the President of the United States (EOP) which is tasked with coordinating United States Federal agencies. The "stop-and-think shop," these are the senior management team of the White House. A OMB performs this coordination by gathering & filtering budget requests, by issuing circulars dictating professional management practices, & by reviewing agency regulations. Six positions in OMB, a Director, a Deputy Director, a Deputy Director for Management, & a Administrators of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, a Professional of Federal Procurement Policy, & the Professional of Federal Financial Management, come Presidentially Appointed & Senate Confirmed positions. A todays director is Joshua Bolten.

A Bureau of the Budget (BOB), OMB's predecessor, was established as a section of the Treasury per Budget & Accounting Act of 1921. BOB was moved to the EOP within 1939, and reorganized into a OMB in 1970 in a period of the Nixon administration. A foremost OMB involved Roy Ash (head), Paul O'Neill (assistant director), Fred Malek (deputy director) and Frank Zarb (associate director) and two dozen others. When of 2004, over D humans were a share of OMB.
